This policy explains what information Anu Health collects, why, and what you can do about it. We’ve kept it short and plain.
Who we are
Anu Health is an integrative health clinic run by Martin Quinn at 103 Richmond Road, Drumcondra, Dublin 3, D03 Y2R0. Anu Health is the data controller for the information described here. For anything to do with your information, contact Martin at martin@anu-health.com or 087 226 0150.
What we collect, and why
- When you contact us — by the contact form, email or phone — we receive your name, your contact details, and whatever you choose to tell us about what’s going on. We use this only to reply and to arrange care.
- When you book — bookings are handled through Acuity Scheduling. You provide your name, contact details and appointment information so we can schedule and prepare for your session.
- When you become a client — we keep treatment records, which may include health information, so we can care for you safely. Health information is “special category” data and is handled with extra care and confidentiality.
- If you subscribe to updates — we keep your email address until you unsubscribe, which you can do from any email we send.
- When you visit the website — we collect anonymised, aggregate usage statistics to see how the site is used. These do not identify you.
Our legal basis
We rely on your consent (for example, signing up for updates), on taking steps at your request and providing the care you ask for, and on our legitimate interest in running the clinic and responding to enquiries. Where we hold health information, we do so on the basis of your explicit consent and for the provision of health care.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information or share it for marketing. We use trusted providers to run the clinic and website, who process information on our behalf — including Acuity Scheduling (booking), Mailchimp (email updates), our website host, and our website’s analytics provider. We may disclose information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep information only as long as it’s needed for the purpose it was given, and for as long as professional and legal obligations require — treatment records in particular must be kept for a set period. When it’s no longer needed, we delete it.
Cookies
Our site uses a small number of cookies that are necessary for it to work, and anonymised analytics to measure usage. Some pages include a booking tool from Acuity Scheduling, which may set its own cookies when you use it. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can control or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.
Your rights
Under data protection law you can ask us to see the information we hold about you, correct anything that’s wrong, delete it or restrict how we use it, receive a copy in a portable form, object to a particular use, or withdraw consent at any time. To make a request, email martin@anu-health.com. You also have the right to complain to the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Last updated June 2026.
