Movement Skills – Rediscovering your Natural Movement
The way in which each of us moves is completely unique to each & everyone of us. How we move is a result of the learned movements patterns, our injury history, our medical history and our state of mind and emptions. Runners move like runners even when not running, just as cyclists move like cyclists.
When these movements patterns are aligned with how our individual body is designed to move then our movements are efficient, comfortable and easy. When these learned movement patterns are not aligned with our natural body movements, our movements become inefficient, difficult and painful.
Movement Skills progressively and systematically will take you thru a series of gentle, attentive and mindful movements that will allow you to relearn and rediscover your natural movement. These movement explorations are suitable for injury rehabilitation, injury prevention/ prehabilitation and performance enhancement.
